Microsoft SkyDrive Update Brings Status Window, Refreshed Logo
This truly is a refreshing news. We had heard that Microsoft was depending on user feedback to make improvements in its cloud storage service SkyDrive. The latest update shows that the company has listened to and acted on such feedbacks.

The most prominent is the addition of a status window. This status window tells you whether or not your SkyDrive is in sync, and it also displays the time at which it was last updated. And when a sync is going on, it will tell you the amount of data and number of files yet to sync.
The SkyDrive now sports a refreshed logo as well. With the upcoming release of Windows 8, the time was right to redesign the SkyDrive logo.
There are new inclusions in the context menu that lets users identify as well as report problems. You can simply right-click the screen to select “View sync problems” or “Report a problem”.
The other changes in the SkyDrive are not visible, which include improvements in performance, reliability and compatibility.
