iPad 3 to Come Sporting High Resolution Display
It is rumored that the iPad 3 will bear a high resolution display, which would mark another revolution in the history of display devices. To add to the expectation, Apple has released iBooks 2, featuring some wonderful high resolution images, which are thought to be as the kind of display iPad 3 would sport.

The images have been spotted by Sonny Dickson in the iBooks 2, and a comparison would bring out the factual difference between the existing display and the one which is featured in the iBooks 2. Products from Apple is supposed to be exhibiting the most quality displays all the time, and iPad 3 would be a new feather in Appleās cap.
The images displayed in the iBooks 2 are of 2048 X 1536 pixels resolution, and this is the resolution Apple is expected to feature in their newest product, iPad 3.

Japanese company Sharp has been the supplier of display for Apple devices, and that precedence is likely to be preserved here too. Sharps IGZO display would give the 2048 X 1536 pixels resolution in iPad 3.
The display in iPad 3 is said to be slightly inferior to the one which is featured in iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. The latter sports 300 PPI whereas the former features 260 PPI display. The iPad 3 is likely to be announced in next month, and could see whether the stories about the device would come true.
