The Galaxy Nexus 7 tablet is expected to arrive in the UK on July 19. That’s the good part of the news. The not so good part is that the tablet will arrive without some cool features that are available in the US.

The Inquirer reports a Google spokesperson confirming that the Nexus 7 for UK won’t have the company’s touted features including TV shows, music and magazines. These features will remain exclusive in the US for the time being.

Also, Google’s UK pre-order page doesn’t mention the company’s recently launched magazine or music library features for the new tablet.

There’s no word on when these features will be made available at the UK Play Store. From what we could gather, there are certain licensing issues which could take a while to sort out.

But the tablet’s got more than just those features. For £160, you get the 7 inch screen and the quad-core Nvidia 1.3GHZ Tegra 3 processor, as well as the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Is the tablet still cool without music and movies? Do let us know.
