Asus Taichi a Tablet/ Laptop Hybrid; Now on Pre-Order
Asus Taichi is a new Windows 8 device that is available for pre-order at the moment. Sporting an interesting display that has a touch screen on both sides, the rig can be used as a laptop device or as a tablet.

Asus Taichi 21 sports an 11.6 inch IPS Full HD, 10-point touch display with 1920X1080 resolution on both sides.
A high end device that is available in either a 3rd Gen Intel Core i5-3317U processor clocking at 1.7GHz or an Intel Core i7-3517U unit, clocked at 1.9GHz, this dual display device holds a 6 cell battery unit that provides 5 hours of backup.
The device also comes with a 4GB DDR3 RAM and SATA III 128GB solid state disk, with an option of 256GB SSD unit. For physical connectivity, the device provides two USB 3.0 ports and a micro-HDMI port.
One key feature of the Taichi 21 is the Asus Simple Show technology that allows both displays to be kept on at all the time. This makes it easy to display photos, videos and making presentations.
The device sports an attractive design and build quality, and also has a 5 megapixel camera. The base model is available for $1,300, while the i7, 256GB SSD model will come for $1,600.
