With almost everyone out there waiting for the launch of Apple’s iPad mini, there are plenty of rumors going around regarding the device. The latest says the device could be available only as a Wi-Fi version.

According to what we get to know, the device will be limited to Wi-Fi connectivity and so you do not need to 3G capabilities in the device.

Apple has decided to launch a more affordable device; therefore in order to keep the device’s price low Apple must have thought of keeping it this way.

If the rumors are true, then the iPad mini will be similar to its competitors such as the Google Nexus 7and the Amazon 7 inch Kindle Fire HD.

Now if you are looking for device’s specifications, it would feature a 7.85-inch screen with an aluminum back cover. Like the new iPhone5, it will also include the new Lightning dock connector.

However, these all are rumors and we need to take them with a pinch of salt. We need to wait a bit more before we talk more on the tablet. Rumors suggest an October 17 launch , and so we shall wait, right?
