Sammy fans in the UK cheer up. Samsung’s updated 9-Series laptop will be reaching you in just few days, surprised right? The Korean electronics giant has announced that the new ultra-thin laptop will reach the stores in the UK on February 25.
According to Samsung, the advanced 2012 unibody laptop model is currently the world’s thinnest and most compact premium notebook. The powerful new class of 9-Series laptop was introduced back in 2011.
The new Samsung 9-Series notebook unveiled back at CES sports a 13.3-inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. It comes with a smooth Duralumin metallic body with smartly tapered curves.
Under the hood, the laptop is equipped with a 1.4GHz Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB RAM and 128GB SSD memory. The 1.31kg device is packed with HDMI, Ethernet, two USB 3.0 ports and microSD slots.
Samsung has stated that the new 9-Series notebook is the ultimate laptop with a perfect single shell body highlighting the device’s ultra-thin and lightweight properties. They added that the laptop provides good memory capacity, faster web browsing and 10 hours of battery backup.
The Samsung laptop, which measures 12.9mm thickness, is slimmer than the 17 mm MacBook Air. Considered one of the best business laptops of the year, the new 9-Series notebook is a stiff competitor to Apple’s 13-inch MacBook Air. Do you think the device has everything in it to topple the MacBook Air?
