ZTE Fury Launch on March 11; Cheap Android 2.3 Handset Coming on Sprint
Sprint customers, you will soon be able to play with a wonderful low-budget smartphone christened ZTE Fury. The handset will be officially released by Sprint on March 11. The ZTE Fury will be available for a price of $19.99 on a two-year contract with Sprint.
Earlier, the ZTE Fury has made many appearances by way of leaks hinting at its arrival on the Now Network. The Android 2.3 Gingerbread-powered handset sports a 3.5-inch display with capacitive touchscreen ability.
Under the hood, the smartphone carries a 1GHz single-core processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB inbuilt memory. A 5-megapixel camera integrated in the back of the handset allows capturing sweet snaps around you.
In addition, the ZTE Fury will be coming with the Sprint ID which will allow you to personalize the phone with the apps, wallpapers, ringtones, widgets and various mobile ID packs. It is speculated that the smartphone will be coming with features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi connectivity and GPS system.
The ZTE Fury is considered to be one of the best smartphones for pre-teens and non-techie types. The handset, originally priced at $219.99 will be available at $19.99, after a $50 mail in-rebate at Sprint stores. Is anyone among you planning to buy the ZTE Fury?
