Earlier, we had told you about the LG Optimus G and AT&T’s announcement of its launch. Now, Sprint too has announced the launch of the device.

Sprint network will release the device on November 11, with a price tag of $199.99 and a two year contract. Customers can pre-order the Sprint version of the Optimus G starting November 1st.

The Optimus G is a quad-core smartphone device that sports a 4.7-inch 1280×768 HD IPS+ display. The phone has a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor along with a 2GB RAM.

Running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, the device also holds two cameras a 13-megapixel rear camera that is capable of capturing video in 1080p. It also has a 1.3 mega pixel front camera for video chat.

Powered by a 2,100 mAh battery that gives 13 hours of talk time and supports 4G LTE connectivity., the Optimus G may be seen as a solid device that would add excitement to Sprint’s LTE device line.
