Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY Gets HD Video Recording from Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread Firmware Update
The Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY is a prized possession of each of its users except for the fact that the prized possession didn’t get the useful software update. The limitations, though not high enough to grumble about, were nevertheless wanting of a decent Android update.
And now that much-longed after update is out on a roll with some pretty features. The Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread firmware update being announced for the Xperia Play will replenish the smartphone with 720p HD video recording capability with continuous auto-focus.
And that’s not all, as the Xperia Play owners also get the option of enabling or disabling the display auto brightness. This is unique to this smartphone since it was kept apart from the 2.3.4 firmware updates for the Xperia arc and Xperia neo, but the feature was recently included in the Verizon Android 2.3.3 Xperia Play update.
