In the picture, the handset comes with a modified Sony Ericsson Timescape UI, which looks different from the one that is seen on Xperia devices. As said before, the smartphone comes with the three soft keys, but the glowing ring in the bottom makes it even more beautiful.

Nozomi is rumored to be equipped with a 4.3-inch HD touchscreen with 1280 x 720 resolutions. A 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor is said to reside under the covers, accompanied by 1GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

The smartphone has a 12-megapixel rear camera with 1080p video recording. The smartphone was initially expected to ship with the Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread, but now there are expectations of the device getting the Ice Cream Sandwich update.

A 1750 mAh battery backs the device that will be coming in two colors: Black and White. Sony Ericsson will most probably unveil the Nozomi officially during the Consumer Electronics Show, starting in January.

We might get to know all the other details like price and release dates then.
