Samsung to Launch Two Windows Phone 8 Devices in Q4
It seems Samsung is out to please everybody. After a slew of Android phones, good old Sammy is bringing out two new smartphones running the upcoming mobile OS Microsoft, Windows Phone 8. Samsung has given out the details about the two Windows Phone 8 devices itself in a roadmap that was filed in the ongoing legal fight against Apple. These devices are codenamed Odyssey and Marco.
So what can we expect from these two Samsung Windows Phone 8 handsets? The Samsung Odyssey will sport a 4.65-inch D Super AMOLED touch screen along with HSPA+ 21Mbps and LTE. It has an 8 mega pixel rear-end camera, and NFC features.
The Samsung offers a 4-inch Super AMOLED WVGA touchscreen. There is a 5 mega pixel rear-end camera, HSAP+ 21Mbps and LTE, and a 2 mega pixel front facing camera.
Both smartphones will feature a 1.5GHz Snapdragon MSM8960 dual-core processor, which has been used to test the Windows Phone 8 operating system.
Both Samsung Odyssey and Samsung Marco will come out sometime in the fourth quarter of 2012.
