HTC Rezound Update Details Out, Pack to Soon Roll Out OTA
The official software update details of the HTC Rezound have made its appearance on Verizon’s website. This means the update bundle will soon be released.
The Verizon web page reveals that Rezound will get the software Version 2.01.605.11 and baseband version 0.95.00.1118r update. Unfortunately, this is not the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, which was earlier promised by HTC.
This update pack is mostly focused on the maintenance and fixation of certain bugs. The update pack is expected to reach the handsets via over-the-air.
Following are the improved features in the software pack. The Signal strength meter is increased to 5 bar Received Signal Strength Indication (RSSI).
The Screen Timeout issues related to the Wi-Fi connectivity have been fixed. The problem related with Mobile Hotspot data stalling when multiple users are connected has been resolved.
The audio quality during voice call and device stability has been improved. Along with these, the issue of Task Manager stopping Mail background service is also resolved.
Earlier, Rezound was in the news for some problems related to audio and software. So this update featuring security patches and bug fixes will be happily welcomed by the handset owners.
In the past, we have seen similar update documents live on Verizon just before the pack is officially released. So we hope the software update bundle will reach you soon.
