At present, if you want to get more information about a TV commercial, you need to enter keywords on each site. But with the introduction of this new technology you can get more information about the TV commercial just by pointing your smartphone at the TV.

The same process is possible through visible light communication, digital watermarks, and QR codes.

But all these methods require some kind of special receivers and also insert unwanted noise in the picture, which will affect its quality. These methods also need a camera to read.

But now Fujistu’s new technology will overcome all these drawbacks. It combines the advantages of visible light and digital watermarks.

According to the company, this technology doesn’t need any additional equipment to embed the digital information and its works with all kinds of televisions and smartphones.

By just pointing the smartphones towards the TV, the smartphone camera will receive information from the TV screen.

Originally, this technology was developed as a security measure for content protection but it is also able to compress and change image size. No doubt, this technology will reduce the effort of people in obtaining information.
