Droid 4 Shows Up at Verizon MAP Leak
Here, have a look at the Big Red’s MAP (minimum advertised price) plans. Another reason to smile is that a bunch of high end Android smartphones from Motorola, including the Razr, Bionic, the new MAXX and the yet to be released Droid 4, are supposedly set to cost conveniently less.
Remember the 4G LTE smartphone from Motorola with a physical keyboard from the CES? According to the leaked Verizon MAP document, the Motorola DROID 4 will be seeing a price drop from its original price of $249.99 to $199.99.
The device is not available yet, and the document suggests a delay in the launch of the Droid 4. It says the price drop starts on January 26 and continues for about six months.
Other devices that appear to be receiving this discount includes the Motorola DROID Bionic which sees its price drop from $199.99 to $149.99. The Motorola Droid RAZR 32GB (black and white version) is touted to get a fall from $299.99 to $279.99.
Makes the Motorola Droid 4 for $199.99 on contract all the more tempting, huh? We know. But this is just a leak, so do not get too excited.
