Weather Neue Tells You the Weather Without Fancy Graphics
In this age of super smartphones, there are many fancy weather apps out there which tell you the weather with a lot of graphics, animation and in depth settings. However, a new radical app has been making all the waves in the tech world for its minimalist style.

Weather Neue is the name of the app. It does not bombard you with graphics and computer generated rain and cloud. You open the app and it automatically detects your location and downloads the most recent data for the location.
It shows the main temperature in Helvetica typeface, and below that there’s stats on precipitation percentage, wind speed and wind direction. And underneath that you have a four-day weather forecast; just the weather and temperature highs and lows.
On the settings menu, there are options to change between metric and imperial measurements and the color scheme. Just that, nothing more.
The app is minimal, and that’s Weather Neue’s USP. If you feel that’s what you want, the app is available for free at the App Store. It requires iOS 5.0 or later and will work with the iPhone 3G, 3GS, 4, and 4S.
