If you are looking for a simple weather app without those fussy graphics, let us bring to light the existence of an app called Sun. Yes, this one is as simple as the Weather Neue. What makes it special? Well, Sun is not a native iOS app, but it is a mobile web app. However, you can hardly tell the difference.

Developed by Jacob Henner Sun is a simple app; you launch it and it shows just the current temperature of your chosen city along with a simple icon to indicate whether you will be seeing rain or clouds in the immediate future. The app uses Safari’s location feature to do the job.

You swipe left or right to switch to any of three other cities. There are options to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit, change cities, and change themes. Then you will be doing a lot of pinching. Pinch out to view a four-day forecast including highs and lows as well as wind speeds and pinch in to adjust the settings.
