Google+ App for Android gets Updated to Version 1.0.2
Google+, the next big thing in networking world, had made an appearance in the Android market few days back. Now that app has got an update to version 1.0.2, which makes the app even better.
If you haven’t yet installed the app in your phone, then go ahead and download it here. If it’s already installed, then go to Android Market and check for available updates.
The update file doesn’t take up much size and you should be able to have it installed within a few seconds. Once installed, the new improvements and fixes should please you.
One good improvement is that you will now be able to browse images from the photos section of the app and the update also allows you to customize the main stream view. Previously, users of Swype were tormented with some kind of bug problem which has been fixed in this issue.
Additionally, a bunch of improvements have been made to the Huddle feature. Incidentally, if a picture interests you while you were browsing, you can put it as the wallpaper of your smartphone, irrespective of the fact that you were accessing it from the stream or via the app’s Photos feature.
Simply touch the image to see it full size and you will see a button in the top right corner which looks like 3 dots, touch this and you will see an option to set the image as wallpaper (as you can see in the above screenshot). Pretty nice, isn’t it?
The update looks cool and we think it would have been even better if Google+ allows you to Hangout while using your gadget. What do you say?
