Here’s wonderful news for all those who always want to be connected to Facebook. You can now access your Facebook account while watching the latest episode of your favorite sitcom by using an app called ‘Facebook on TV’. This app is now available for AT&T U-Verse subscribers in the United States.

U-Verse subscribers can now connect with Facebook through their TV screen using ‘Facebook on TV’, which is the latest interactive app available from AT&T. The app lets you to connect to your Facebook account while watching your favorite shows on television. The app allows users to view newsfeed, friend’s lists, and photos.

By using this app, you can post updates about the shows you are watching on TV and also interact with friends and view their timelines, photos and status updates.

The Facebook on TV app is not limited to just one user. Up to 10 different accounts can be added by a U-Verse TV customer on a single receiver. To access Facebook on TV all you need is an existing Facebook account and a U-Verse High Speed Internet account.

Customers of U-Verse TV already have access to several extra social TV apps at no extra charge. AT&T  is hoping that the Facebook app will help more users to know about U-Verse by means of social networking.
