Video app Showyou has released an update that is aimed at turning iPads into better remote controls for Apple TV.Showyou uses Apple’s AirPlay to send videos from the iPad to the Apple TV. Showyou has added a cool feature that lets users queue up videos to be watched on the Apple TV. These videos can be watched later if you want to leave the app to check your mail or surf the Internet.

Apple has offered multitasking during Airplay streaming since the launch of iOS 5 last year but very few developers have implemented it. You can load in a video from any of Showyou’s partners and it is equipped with a dual screen navigation and control as a part of its latest update.

Showyou now has more than 60 million videos indexed and since they are very well organized they’re generally more interesting than random YouTube videos. The app support the iPad’s retina display and has some new social media features that lets users send the video’s to their friends and or share them.
