Apps like GO SMS Pro, GO Keyboard, GO Contacts and GO Launcher EX are popular choices among Android enthusiasts and now the GO team has released a new app called the GO Launcher HD for Android tablets.

Android 3.0 and later versions can use this app and it is essentially a tablet-ready version of  GO Launcher EX.

GO Launcher HD’s feature-set is similar to GO Launcher EX. One can customize the number of home-screens, grid-layout, and backup and restore icons and widgets layout, create folders, check running apps etc. in a refreshing interface that differs slightly from the stock Honeycomb launcher.

As for now, this app doesn’t really offer anything radical, but there are expectations regarding the stable version as it will be rolling out with a more expanded feature-set.

GO Launcher HD is in Beta stage of development at the moment and is available for free in the form of an APK file.

Battery usage for the running of this app is also of serious concern for the developer, though no information regarding that is officially stated as for now.
