Poynt is Not Going Bankrupt
Recently, we heard Poynt had filed for protection from creditors under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. Many thought that the company was on the verge of actual bankruptcy.

However, it turns out that the location based search app maker is not in trouble and things are just fine with the Canadian company. Poynt CEO Andrew Osis says the company is “continuing to operate, grow and develop and nothing really has changed” and claims that the company is adding 20,000 new users each day.
As for the BlackBerry 10 apps, the company says that it is still working to bring a custom Poynt experience to BlackBerry 10 devices.
All is well as far as the customers are concerned. Poynt will continue to be available in nine countries for Android, iOS, BlackBerry smartphones, PlayBook, Windows Phone and Nokia devices.
