Pinterest App Arrives on iPad and Android Devices
Pinterest, the super-popular pinboard-style social photo sharing website has announced that the app can now be downloaded on Android devices and iPad. This means you don’t need an iPhone to pin any more.

Pinterest allows users to create and manage theme-based image collections such as events, interests, hobbies, and much more. All of the three applications that Pinterest has introduced were coded separately keeping in mind the handcrafted culture of the company.
Pinterest app designed for iPad comprises a Pinterest specific browser along with a new button which can be used to select an image. All the pinned items can be later on displayed from the same website.
This new service was made public just last week thereby brining an end to waiting lists and user permitted invitations that were earlier needed to become a member of the site. At the moment Pinterest does not have a profit spawning business but it has successfully raised a $100 million in funding. The application for iPad is currently available for free on iTunes App Store and Pinterest for Android is also free but it does need an Android 2.2 or above.
