Path, the social-networking app that helps you keep in touch with family and close friends, is getting popular these days. The developers of the mobile-based social network are trying to live up to the user expectation with an update for the iPhone and Android.
Version 2.5 of the app is the first major update to the social network since November 2011 and includes features like “nudge”, share books and movies, larger images, and new photo editing tools.
The new version comes with the ability to display photos in a larger size in the home feeds. You can snap photos by touching the volume button and capture video simply by tapping the video screen, plus users also get the ability to add filters to photos.
Path now hopes to allow users to watch and read what their friends are watching and reading. In addition to the ability to share books and movies with your friends, users can also access reviews and actor and author information without leaving Path.
Like the Facebook “poke”, Path has a new feature called “nudge”. Version 2.5 also has features like the ability to send friend suggestions to friends and add a personal voice messages.
