RIM BBM Music Officially Released
RIM has officially released BBM Music, their new social music service. The app is integrated with the BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) and is expected to reach customers by this year-end. RIM also stated that a closed beta trial of the BBM Music will be available in Canada, the US and the UK.

BBM Music is a cloud-based, social music service that allows you to share and discover music with your friends and creates a continually evolving music library.
The new music streaming service has come up with a music catalog featuring millions of songs from the four music power houses- Universal Music, Sony Music Entertainment, Warner Music and EMI.
Users can create a profile that can access 50 songs from the big music catalog and share it among the friends. You can enlarge the music library as you have more BBM Music friends in your BBM Music Community, as the 50 songs from your each friend are added to the library.
You can also create combined playlists, including your friend’s collection and share them with the community members. It also allows the users to comment and share ideas and suggestions in the community.
It offers seamless integration with other BlackBerry music services. You can refresh the profile by swapping out 25 songs per month. Music can be saved to smartphones for offline listening.
BlackBerry users who have BBM 6 installed can avail BBM Music at a monthly subscription of $ 4.99.
