iMaschine App for iPhone Lets You Make Your Own Music [Video]
For those who do not know Jaime Lidell, well, he is an awesome musician/producer. He is so good that he can make great music using even an iPhone app. But the app is supposed to be in the spotlight now. This one, called the iMaschine, is created by Native Instruments and is now available in the app store.
The iMaschine app for the iPhone and iPod Touch is an all-in-one sampler, sequencer and audio processor which allows you to improvise, and record the beats. You can choose from the package of Drum kits, synths, bass and some other sounds, and lay down a track on the pads and edit the track as well.
If you want more of the iMaschine, there is a video of none other than Jaime Lidell making the most out of the app. The music in the video is recorded real-time. You may not be Jaime Lidell, but you can be sure of what exactly the app can do when it comes to your iPhone or iPod Touch.
The app is based on the Maschine sequencer hardware/software combination by Native Instruments. So that could be why Jaime Lidell is playing with the pad on a sequencer rather than the app.
Hit play and enjoy the video. And if you are impressed, get your iMaschine app for $4.99 at the app store.
