iPhone Flipboard App Released
Flipboard, the popular social magazine app is now available on iPhones. The reading app developed for the iPad was a huge hit due to the clean print and the simple flipping action of pages.
After one year of the Flipboard for iPad launch, the Palo Alto based company has released the iPhone version of the app during the Le Web Conference, Paris. The app allows users to access stories, photos, news and updates that are shared across social networks on to your devices.
The iPhone version comes with a fast and beautiful interface and a new feature called Cover Stories. Differing from the former Flipboard, the redesigned one comes with a vertical flip that allows the users to flick the pages easily by a simple thumb-swipe up while holding the iPhone in one hand.
Mike McCue, CEO of Filpboard revealed that the company decided to redesign the app, after seeing its popularity on iPads and many requests for the iPhone version. Here are some of the features that you can see in the iPhone Flipboard.
Cover Stories will give a quick update on interesting stories and photos in social networks and favorite Flipboard contents. The Flipboard Account allows the user to access all the contents from those saved in their iPad.
Features like Content Guide, Search Bar, Share Everywhere and Read Later will make reading more interesting. The Flipboard app for iPhone is now available for download in the Appleās App Store.
