India Gets Google Play Seller Support
Developers in India had been at restrain strings for long not letting to submit paid apps in Google Play. Although they had the space to include free apps, some of them who found success in their products couldn’t leverage any profit for their hard work. Well, that’s going to end soon as Google Play Seller support has launched in India.

So from now on, Indian developers can attach a price tag for their app. That definitely includes selling of in-apps and any subscription schemes. Besides putting a priced product on Google play, if any developer has any of their apps on Google Play then they have the option to put in-app purchases.
If you are a developer fromIndia, and have plans to get your app listed on Google Play all you need to do is to sign in to your Developer Console and create a Google Checkout merchant account.
When your app is ready, you can price them with any available currencies and receive your payments through your local banks. Now start monetizing your businesses because you deserve it.
For a wider market stretch Google has added Indian Rupees to the currency system so that Indian users can purchase by their own currency. And in the coming days’ buyer’s currency support will be implemented to the country.
Dealing with that purpose Google team is welcoming all the developers in the country to visit your Developer Console for marking their app price into INR.
If you haven’t set any specific price for your app Google will automatically assign a price based on the daily exchange rate.
Announcing the seller support, Ibrahim Elbouchikhi, the Product Manager on the Google Play team, said that India has escalated more than 400 % in Google Play user multitude and pumping massive increase in app downloads.
From the past six months, the apps downloaded by Android users in India had reached a higher number than the number of downloads done in the previous three years combined. Being second largest country in population and with surging android users India is now at fourth place in the global market scene.
Within the near future, more countries will get the seller support from Google Play.
