GoPro Wi-Fi BacPac App Controls Camera Functions
GoPro has launched an impressive Wi-Fi BacPac app that helps you control your cameras with your smartphone or tablet. It is capable enough to turn your smartphone or tablet device into camera remote with live on-screen look and complete recording controls.

This app allows users to operate up to 50 cameras remotely, at a maximum range of 180m (600ft). Thus it creates large possibilities in video composition and editing.
Sporting a user-friendly interface for changing settings such as metering, focus and sound levels, it also gives full control over the camera settings including power, starting and stopping recording as well as switching between different modes. And, all these are possible through the screen of your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad.
Users will also able to wirelessly transfer stored video files from the camera’s memory card to the phone or tablet. Other features of the GoPro app include the ability to monitor battery life of the camera and the memory space on your camera’s SD card.
At present, GoPro has only released the iOS version of the app and the Android version is expected in the near future.
