Google Currents have been around for a while, but the company hasn’t been able to adhere to user demands with regard to international availability. Until now, that is.  With the search major now ushering in the version 1.1 of Google Currents, international availability as well as quick syncing have been made possible.

If you are one of those fans who have been clamoring for these features, the latest outing by Currents will ensure that you can download Google Currents wherever you are. The global experience can also be spruced up with the ability to add your most loved local blogs to Currents.

The new version also allows for integration of Google Translate with Google Currents. Now that is one feature, we were all looking forward to for sure. International availability and the seamless integration of Translate go hand in hand, indeed. The globe icon will help you translate whatever you want to any of those 38 languages that are supported by Currents.

The quicker syncing capability that comes with the new version will open up before your eyes the latest in the content arena the moment you log on.

This apart, the feature also helps you pick any edition available for offline reading too. So if you are someone on the go, the new Currents version 1.1 will come in handy.  The limited storage might be a hassle but then for a traveling professional the new version might come as a boon – to say the least.
