Flesky for iOS Devices Decodes Your Poor Typing
Creator of proof-of-concept app called BlindType Kostas Eleftheriou has joined hands with Ioannis Verdelis to develop a keyboard replacement iOS app for the blind and the partially blind. The new app is called Flesky.

BlindType, which Kostas developed with his cousin Panos Petropoulos, was later sold to Google. Kostas had also created a similar iPhone app called iSteam which was also a touch screen app that was designed to correct errors as the user types.
Fleksy is currently an exclusive iOS app. Creators said that the app will also be built for other major mobile platforms like Android and Windows Mobile. The creators of the app wanted to kickoff with an iOS release so that people could try out what they have already developed.
The developers have said that the objective of the app is to make typing easier and what Fleksy delivers would be an experience like no other. In the beginning Fleksy was aimed at the visually impaired, but later on the company realized that sighted people could also benefit from the app.
Since the keyboard on Apple’s platform cannot be swapped unlike in Android, iOS users will have to be really blind or at least partially blind to make use of the app.
