If you are a frequent Apple Airplay user, this piece of news will interest you. There are rumors going around that Microsoft will be releasing Smart Glass.

Smart Glass is basically a media streaming source for the Xbox 360 just like how Airplay is for Apple.  It allows users to listen to music or just watch videos using their devices. But that is not all; sometimes you just need a bigger screen to drown in quality of the video. So, the Smart Glass will allow the user transfer his media to the Xbox. You can search for stuff, skip or go back the timeline of the media and basically use it as a remote.

Though Microsoft Smart Glass is being called a tablet, it just doesn’t feel right. Although Microsoft has been known to create quite a few peripherals and other hardware, it doesn’t seem likely for them to be building a tablet. As it is, it looks like Microsoft’s hand is full.

The app  will be available for iOS, Windows and Android. So, that makes it another reason for you to go out and buy a Microsoft Xbox.  With all these features, it would certainly be a lot more fun.
