uTorrent, the favourite BitTorrent client for Windows and Mac, now has a full BitTorrent client for Android. BitTorrent has  released the Beta version of uTorrent for Android smartphones and tablets.

This is the first official uTorrent app for mobile devices released by the uTorrent team, and you don’t have to wait until you’re on your home computer in order to download a new album or TV show. This app allows them to be directly downloaded to the user’s phone.

uTorrent for Android has everything we adore about uTorrent on the desktop. It has RSS support, the ability to play back media just as you download, and the ability to set upload and download limits.

Unfortunately for iOS users, the uTorrent app for Apple’s platform is not coming anytime soon. The Android app is supposed to provide access to legal content, but BitTorrent has yet to add that feature.

uTorrent for Android Beta is available for Android devices running 2.1 and higher versions. Extremely popular with some 140 million users using it each month, the Android app of uTorrent will make sure that the number will keep increasing.
