Barnes & Noble has released their latest Nook app for Android devices. The new app comes with options to buy and download comic books, graphic novels and manga books on the Android-powered phones and tablets.

The Nook 3.1.0.19 version app works only with devices running Android 2.2 and above versions. Using the app, you can now easily purchase and download their favorite comics and novels from the Nook Store consisting of a large collection of e-books.

Along with the adjustable font size, the newest Nook app supports additional font styles for the content you like to read. You can simply browse through the sub-categories of the Nook Store and get more details of the books.

In addition, the app allows you to sideload your own ePub files for reading and also to lend books to your friends. The new Nook app syncs the last page you’ve read on your smartphone, tablet or computer, thereby allowing you to read quickly from where you have left.

The latest Nook app is now available for free download from the Android Market. Meanwhile, the users who are updating from version 2.7 or earlier will have to sign in with your account and re-download the content to read again.
