Bitter Sam is an iOS-based motion control game that has amassed a lot of iPhone users over the last few days. The trailer video of the game is also being watched by a lot of people exhibiting the popularity of the game. The game has been developed by a team called Moon Active.
Based in Tel Aviv, Israel, Moon Active is an independent game development company focused on iPhone, iPod touch and iPad games, and Bitter Sam is their first title.
The gameplay starts with the scenario that can be explained as below. Sam has been overlooked by his family and he did shitty in school. He lost out on his love and a scientist kidnapped him into a bottomless pit to search for crystals which hold a secret power.
Each crystal that Sam collects will bring him closer to freedom and a shot at a brighter future. The player controls are quite simple. The player has to swing Sam left or right by tilting but he has to make sure that Sam’s rope doesn’t get cut off.
Bitter Sam’s features include Physics-based tilt controls along with 100 challenging levels filled with deadly spikes, rotating blades, and other perilous obstacles.
The game play has an intriguing 5 different worlds to go through and there are unique power-ups to help Sam survive from exploding inflatable pigs to invincible ropes.
The developers were keen to include Game center connectivity with global leaderboards such that any user can compete with their friends for perfect scores.
