Avatron Air Display App Rolled Out for Android Slates
The popularity of Android devices has spurred many apps. The latest, which has now made its leap on to the Android platform, is called Air Display. Earlier, Avatron had introduced the Air Display app specially for the Apple’s iPad.
The app developer has now extended their popular iPad Air Display app to the Android based tablets too.
The new version Air Display app is now available at the Amazon Appstore for Android at a price of $9.99. The app works as an extension or mirror of the computer display.
It produces the copy of the display of a Windows or Mac OS X system in the Android device’s screen through wireless connection.
The app allows users to navigate on the device’s screen with the help of the touchscreen or a mouse. When the app is started, the desktop screen will automatically get transferred onto the tablet’s screen with the appropriate size.
Similarly, the tablet’s main display automatically goes back to the normal single-screen mode, as the app is closed. Though the app is available in Amazon Appstore, no clues are there that when it will be reaching the usual Android Market.
