Little Digits is a Fun Finger Counting Educational App for iOS
It’s always right to get your kids interested in numbers. So why not let them learn the numbers and play with them at the same time? There’s a new app out there called Little Digits from Cowly Owl, which is educational, colorful and fun, just the way your kids love it. So finger counting is the basic deal. The multitouch display of the iPad detects how many fingers the kid is holding up to the screen to display the number character, fashioned as a cute monster, animation or animal.

Then there are games that introduce small addition and subtraction, where you can work out the answer using the same multi-touch finger detection.
You can let the kids learn the number games through initial independent play or you can sit with them and do the counting together.
This one is a kid safe app with no in-app purchases. It uses 10 fingers for interaction, and you need to turn off multitasking gestures on your device settings.
Little Digits 1.0 is suitable for children between 3 and 7 years of age and is available for download at the iTunes App Store. It costs $1.99.
