Check Out the Lucent Lock Screen App for Android
Does looking at the same old lockscreen of your Android mobile bore you? Of course it does. Well, if you are not aware, there are a couple of lock screen options in the Android Market. And the latest one is the Lucent Lock Screen, which is simply awesome in looks and functionality. First things first. This one lets you view weather, text messages, music controls, networks controls and sound management from your still-locked screen. You can also select which of these is your default.

And below you have the unlocker, which is familiar to the ICS crowd out there. Cool way to unlock your device, cooler than the simple slider. This lets you directly access your homescreen, text messages, camera or music straight from your lockscreen.
That being said, there are some small issues. It does have some stability problems. And for HTC and Motorola Device, you need to download No Lock from the Android Market so that you do not have to unlock the device twice to get in. Turning off the native locker does not work.
Also, there is graphical inconsistency as well. With the weather, the very bottom of the temperatures are missing, and on the music, so is the underside of the volume slider.
Nevertheless, the Lock Screen is easy to use and has a cool interface with black and white beauty. Plus the functionality makes you forget about the minor issues.
Why not go for it. Let us know if you liked it.
