Tweetbot Reaches iPad, App’s iPhone Version 2.0 Released
Tweetbot, by far the best Twitter client for the Apple iPhone, has extended its range toCupertino’s next popular device. Yes, the wonderful app has now reached the iPad too. Along with this, app developer Tapbots has brought good news for the iPhone users. The Tweetbot app’s iPhone version has been updated to 2.0 with more improvements for the users.

The new Tweetbot iPad version comes with almost same features that were seen in the original version. The full-featured app is packed with a meticulously-crafted interface, sounds and animation, and features like multiple timelines and smart gestures.
It comes with the user- and hashtag-muting, which has been a demand from Twitter users all the while.
Similar to the iPhone version, the iPad app features native push notifications and the editing of the side navigation bar in ensuring the absence of extraneous tabs.
Meanwhile, the updated iPhone version now allows the user to click on links with no pressing on a tweet first and see thumbnail versions of images in-line, reducing the difference between choosing to enlarge or not.
Apart from self tapping, you can also click on the name of the person retweeting a post. Along with the revamped DM and Replies tabs, improvements have been done in increasing the overall scrolling performance.
Both the iPhone and iPad Tweetbot are available at the App Store for a price of $2.99. Meanwhile, the Tweetbot 2.0 for iPhone is free for the existing users of the app.
