TomTom iOS App Gets Update; Adds Foursquare Support

TomTom, the world’s leading supplier of in-car location and navigation products, has released a new update for its iPhone app. Users of this app can navigate to addresses found on the internet, by searching it using Foursquare. Moreover, the app allows users to navigate to addresses found on the internet.

The latest update also comes with new TomTom map data and it includes new methods for route modification and destination choosing. Other features in the new TomTom update include the Danger Zones service that helps drivers deal with speed cameras.

Using the app, drivers now can quickly and easily find the way to places that they’ve found on websites and other apps by just copying an address and pasting it into their TomTom Navigation app. They do not have to type it out as the app will automatically work out the destination and direct them straight there.

The latest version of the TomTom Navigation app for iPhone and iPad iTunes App Store is available for download, totally free of cost for customers with an earlier version of the app. For new customers, the app can be purchased for $49.99 at the Apple App Store. Other versions of this app that include maps for other countries and continents are also available at the App Store.
