Here’s something for drivers to help them drive safely while using a smartphone (even though that isn’t a smart idea). People find it hard to refrain from texting on their smartphones while on the road, so there’s a useful Android app which helps send messages.

It’s called Sonalight Text by Voice- a hands-free, voice-to-text app. It allows you to send SMSes hands-free as well as helps you hear your incoming SMS and Google Voice messages.

Sonalight offered 20 free messages, but some users didn’t find it too accommodating. So the developers of the app have scaled up the number of free messages to unlimited.

That should keep you happy. Moreover, some bug fixes were also added, and a couple of new features were upgraded into the app.

Features like voice indicator and better recognition make the app friendlier. Sonalight can be downloaded from the Android Market for free.

So get the app if you are on the road frequently. It helps you keep your hands on the wheel and your eye on the road.
