In their bid to make things much easier for BlackBerry owners, RIM has officially launched the updated version of BlackBerry App World. New apps, games and themes are available in separate channels, so if you know what you want, the rest is pretty simple.

The BlackBerry App World bumped up to version 3.0 has a new and improved homescreen with rotating banners to spotlight all that is new and exciting.

There is also an app social sharing feature that allows users to share their favorite applications using like Facebook, Twitter, BBM, SMS or email.

Another addition is ‘My Account’, which helps you manage payments through BBID and helps you access your account information directly from the homescreen.

Yet another addition is the ‘My World’ portal, which gives a streamlined view of purchased and downloaded apps and also installed and uninstalled ones.

The new Blackberry App World is just a click away – you can browse and download apps online. You can download your own BlackBerry App World for your Smartphone (BB 5 OS and above). BlackBerry owners should have received a notification of the upgrade.
