Apple iPhone 5 and iOS 5 to Feature New App Called Assistant
A few days more and we hope to catch hold of the fifth generation iPhone and the iOS 5. But Apple has another fruit up its sleeve; and that’s a new app for the iOS 5.
The Cupertino based company is expected to be unveiling the app called Assistant at the “Let’s Talk iPhone” event on October 4th. It seems both the iPhone 5 and the iPhone 4S might include the app as they come.
The company might include the app only for the new phones, so you might have to get hold of a new handset if u want to try out the app. The application is said to include the voice recognition features of both Nuance and Siri.
Nuance are the makers of Dragon Dictate for the Mac and Naturally Speaking for Windows, while Siri was introduced as a standalone app that order’s your ‘Assistant’ to send texts, ask Google Maps for directions and such. The company might be integrating all these features, plus a few more, into their new app for the iOS 5.
With the Assistant, maybe the way of use of the iPhone 5 might alter for the user. Lets wait and see what Apple is going to announce to the world.
Meanwhile, get a look at the video.
