The app will also let you stream movies directly to your iPad, and you can also download rented and purchased videos directly to your video library on your iPad.

Thousands of titles available from Prime Instant Video can be watched at no additional cost with an Amazon Prime membership.

Over 120,000 videos that are available from the Amazon Instant Video can be stored by installing the Amazon Instant Video app. You can download the purchased and rented videos from Your Video Library for offline viewing on airplanes, road trips, or any time a Wi-Fi connection is unavailable.

Amazon Instant Video can also create a Watchlist to queue videos; use Whispersync to save and resume position when switching between devices; and subscribe to a TV Season Pass to get the new episodes of the current TV shows automatically added a day after they are aired.

If you’re a Prime member, you need to download this app immediately. If you’re not a Prime member, you will have to pay $79 to get a membership.
